As I celebrated my birthday on May 11, the entire company got together in our newly decorated lunch room and celebrated my birthday with an emotionally packed get together. It was deeply touching. In addition to the kind words and cake that was presented, I was deeply moved by their gift. In honor of this birthday occasion, they gave me a check for Barco’s Nightingales Foundation in the amount equal to paying for 10 surgeries for the kids in need. I was deeply moved with tears in my eyes. I can now see how deeply moved all of our team members are for the foundation we started less than 12 months ago. I will remember this birthday for the rest of my life. It is so wonderful having such loving team members inside the company and I pray for each of them. Today as I write this blog, I received another check from one of our sales representatives raising the total to now 11 surgeries. How blessed I am. With much appreciation and affection to all of you.
