The faces of Barco’s children lights your fire.  On June 26, Barco had its family picnic. This day also marked my father’s 95th birthday and what a wonderful way to honor and pay tribute.

As I watched the children get their faces painted and heard their laughter, I was reminded about the many children in Peru and all around the world who are not smiling and having the opportunity in having fun and in having their faces painted.  I am also reminded that with the surgeries that our foundation is paying for, many children are now wearing smiles for the very first time. Hopefully they will now have the opportunity to have fun just like the children from our Barco family.

How sweet a reminder the picnic was to me.  When you look into the eyes of these happy children, you can see their souls and the face of God.

My prayer is to have all children experience the fun and joy like our Barco children because every child everywhere is a blessing to life and to their family.  Our dedication to help children continues to grow and multiply.  If you would like to help the children, please contact us and see the difference your compassion makes.
