It was such an honor to meet and to present the “Barco’s Nightingales Nursing Award for Excellence” to our second winner with my wife Frida. Our award focuses in on those nurses who volunteer their time for the benefit of children. Rosemary has gone on 35 medical missions for the benefit of children. She is an amazing nurse who currently works at the Stanford Hospital. Rosemary is a change agent and lives with great humility. She also loves to mentor the young nurses because they are the future. Rosemary has an enormous amount of compassion and great professional skill.
It was a great honor to present the award to Rosemary. In her honor and name we have donated to Resurge for 10 additional life changing surgeries.
In addition to this , Karla Bakersmith, President of Scrubs and Beyond, has provided a gift certificate in the amount of $250 to Rosemary in honor of her achievement.
Rosemary has also accepted to become a member of Barco’s Nightingales Nursing Council. We look forward to a continuing relationship with Rosemary and wish her and her family the very best.
