We are delighted to share that with the help of your generous support we have extended our hot lunch program in Haiti to include two more schools, both located in Banane!  Each day, we now serve more than 700 students a nutritious hot lunch.
While a hot lunch may be something we take for granted, it makes a huge difference to these children’s health and to their ability to focus and learn.
As we often find, photos tell this story better than our words ever could.

Banane is in the southeast region of Haiti, about 46 miles or 74 kilometers from Port-au-Prince, the country’s capital. While fairly close to the capital city, the people in Banane struggle with poverty and lack of basic needs daily. We are grateful to be able to extend our work and make a difference in the lives of these resilient and joyful people.
