Words of Hope, Healing, and Health
What a beautiful way to start 2016, with a message of hope from our partners at The Lighthouse Foundation. We hope this will help frame your year as it will ours.

Since 2004, the Lighthouse Foundation has been active in helping the hurting people of Haiti. In 2011, one of our board members, Phil Little, participated in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. He met Rafael Perez Yan there, a young man who had a vision to improve the lives of his people in Anse Pitre and the remote village of Banane.
Rafael’s vision was very similar to the vision of the Lighthouse Foundation in Corinth and so began a great partnership. Since that time we have offered advice and support to help Rafael begin The Lighthouse Foundation of the Frontier in his own country. His mission is to carry out projects that will ease the day to day struggles of the poverty stricken families in these communities.
We lead several mission teams from the United States each year that bring food and clothing and other necessities to these hurting people. These teams have hosted programs for the children as well as conferences for women. Our staff has also participated in helping with the water wells funded by Barco’s Nightingales Foundation. These wells bring life-giving water to many Haitian communities and are truly bringing much needed relief.
The Haitian people are strong and have survived many struggles. Our goal is to lend a helping hand in the name of Christ to our hurting brothers and sisters.
Here’s to a New Year filled with healing, hope, and health to all of you and to our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
