Frida and I wish to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who made the 2016 Barco’s Nightingales Foundation Walk for Kids a huge success.

First, we want to acknowledge the volunteers and staff who worked behind the scenes for months to prepare, organize, promote and manage the thousands of details that go into making this event possible. We are sincerely grateful for such a talented team.
We also want to thank all the individuals who organized teams. We had many returning teams, but also several new teams, and in all cases there were many more participants. And, on that note, we wish to thank the walkers, those who rose early and came out in record numbers to celebrate a beautiful Sunday LA morning. Finally, we appreciate those of you who were there in spirit.
When we first started this walk, we could only imagine a day like this past Sunday. This year, that vision became a reality.
