Judith Vineyard Roach, R.N.,M.N.
Judith Roach has gained a wide range of experience throughout her nursing career, with a common thread being the education of patients on maintaining and improving their health. She worked as a surgical and recovery nurse for two doctors, Dr. Gary Tearston and Dr. Richard Ellenbogen, both with practices in Los Angeles, Calif.. Prior to that, she served as a school nurse for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She worked as a lecturer and clinical instructor at both the Vocational Nursing School of California and at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Nursing, BSN Program. Earlier, she worked as the school nurse for the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Throughout her career, Ms. Roach applied her nursing skills as a volunteer. She is a board member of the UCLA Medical Center Auxiliary, Thrift Shop Bookkeeper, and Chair of the Evaluations Committee. Additionally, she has volunteered as president of The Country School PTA and as president of the Frostig School PTA.
Judith earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1972 and her Health Services Credential from California State University, Northridge, in 1980. She completed her master’s degree in nursing in 1984 at the UCLA.
