Kay Clarke, RN

Kay Clarke has been involved with ReSurge since 1972 and currently serves as the Nurses Committee Advisor. Besides her own background in nursing, Kay brings to her associations with both ReSurge and Barco’s Nightingales Foundation extensive experience in business, communications and philanthropy. She has held positions as CEO of Whitaker & Baxter International, Director of Corporate Communications for SRI International and Public Relations Manager for AT&T. Her civic and philanthropic activities include serving on the Protocol Board of San Francisco, the San Francisco Host Committee, the International Host Committee and the San Francisco-Seoul Sister City Committee. In addition, she has worked with the World Affairs Council of Northern California, the American Society of Romanian Health Care, Assist International’s Romania project and Cinterandes-Ecuador. She is also the recipient of the “Service Above Self Award,” Rotary International’s most prestigious honor given by its board of directors.
