Allie Kendall
Allie Kendall is currently the School Nurse for K4 – 12th grade in Vardaman, Mississippi. She has been nursing for 7 years and is honored to have been nationally recognized as a recipient of the Daisy Award through the Daisy Award Foundation. Allie’s motto is “grow through what you go through.” Born to the child of an addict, she was faced with her own adversities: poverty, rejection, and low self esteem. Allie was the first person in her family to graduate college with honors and hall of fame recipient. Being a nurse means, “I can be an advocate for the vulnerable every day- I WAS the vulnerable at one point in my life.” I almost give up. . This was her destiny to be able to be a voice for the ones who need it most...” You literally love someone more than they love themselves at certain times and to be a voice for all Nurses is a dream come true.” As the Barco Nightingale Foundation states- Nurses keep hope alive.” In her personal life, Allie is a proud wife, mother of three, and child of God. Allie won the title of Mrs. Mississippi in 2018 and went on to place in the Top 15 recently at Mrs. America. Her message to everyone is to keep going and keep growing!
