Today is always one of my favorite holiday’s.  Labor Day is a day to take a time out and reflect on all those who have worked in our family company.  My grandfather started Barco in 1929 almost 82 years ago.  It is a miracle  that our company has been in our family for these 82 years.  A special heartfelt thanks to all those who have been a part of the Barco family.
As my mentor and hero , my father, taught me many guiding principles which I have followed in leading our business.  A special principle of his life was in the Love he brought to his work each and every day.  I worked side by side with my father and witnessed first hand how much he loved his employees, customers, and products.  It was the principle in loving what you do that I am sharing today.  He told me many times, that if you Love what you do , you will never work a day in your life. How true this is.
This year I celebrate my 46th year at Barco .   In these 46 years at Barco I have not worked a day in my life because of the Love I bring to our company and for the Love I feel for our employees, customers, and our quality products .
” Love what you wear ” is our customer commitment.  Love is at the center of everything we do at Barco.  I hope that many of our associates  also are loving what they do with our company. I can see in the Love in the hearts of many at Barco.
