The commitment to heal lives from the volunteer team of Resurge was such a blessing for me to witness first hand. I did not expect to see and feel the feelings I had while I was in the surgery room.  I was so deeply touched with the compassion and dedication of the volunteer medical team of Resurge.  They worked many hours and never slowed down. They did their work with such a commitment for perfection in the outcome.  It was also amazing to see the collaboration and teamwork between the nurses and physicians.   I spent the majority of my time in the surgery room.  It was such a life changing experience for me.  The medical team took time to explain many things  about the surgery to me and I learned a great deal at the same time.  A standing ovation goes out to the volunteer medical team.  In my world you are heroes.
