Precious Lourdes was another life changing moment for me. I fell in love with Lourdes the moment I met her.  I stayed by her side during her journey with the loving medical team from ReSurge.  These photos were taken within the first 24 hours following the repair of her cleft lip.  I was with Lourdes during the nearly 3 hour surgery.  I was by her side in recovery and as she woke up.

I was with her when her mother took her in her arms in recovery.

I witnessed the love and compassion that nurses naturally bring to each and every patient through a nurse, Tina as she cared for Lourdes.

She has since become a member of our nursing council of Barco’s Nightingales Foundation. What a great life changing moment for me.  The love we all carry in our hearts is the most wonderful feeling of all.  Thank you Resurge for the opportunity.
