" Our Community of Compassion takes another huge step to help more Kids "

April 9, 2012

Michael Donner with Arthur Zeesman and Bonnie Nijst of Zeesman Communications

On April 1,2012 approximately 454 Walkers joined us in our second walk.  We were fortunate to walk side by side with the RMHC Walk for Kids. Our community of compassion grew to 454 with the help of our outside guests. They were suppliers, customers and service companies who work with our company and they helped to bring the total to nearly 454. What an amazing accomplishment and how proud we all feel.

The donations are continuing to come in 1 week after the Walk.  I expect donations will continue to come our way for the next week or two. At the time of this writing we have received donations which are nearly 20% more than last year.

I will soon be sending out the money raised in the following manner. We will be able to now provide life changing surgeries for another 150 children through Resurge International.   We will be able to send another 50 children with cancer to attend The Ronald McDonalds Camp for Good Times.  25 children will be able to attend a Summer Session of Camp and 25 will be able to attend a Winter Session of Camp.

Because of the success of our second Walk on April 1,2012 we will also be able to build our second solar water well in Haiti.  We are working with Phil Little and Hispaniola Mountain Ministries. Each of these Solar water wells is able to help save lives for thousands of children in Haiti. We are very pleased in expanding our reach in helping Kids with these 2 solar water wells.

We are very proud of the great success of our second annual walk.  A special thanks goes out to each of the 454 people and organizations who made individual donations.  Our community of compassion is expanding and they are very generous.  Words cannot do justice in expressing our gratitude.
