We are delighted to share this information from Gary Caveness, Executive Director of The Lighthouse Foundation of Corinth, Inc. We work closely with this amazing organization to bring much needed resources to the people of Haiti.

The Lighthouse Foundation is a non-profit 501C(3) organization founded in 1994 that offers hope and help to at-risk children and youth in the impoverished areas of North Mississippi. The Lighthouse is a faith-based ministry comprised of individuals throughout our community including educators, ministers, business and civic leaders.  Our mission is to affect positive change within the community by becoming personally involved in the social development of disadvantaged youth so that lives are transformed, leaders are developed, and educational and career opportunities are enhanced.
Enlisting the aid of numerous volunteers, the Lighthouse provides crucial programs such as after-school tutoring, mentoring, GED classes, youth leadership training, job placement, youth sports and recreation, visual and performing arts, summer camps, college financial aid, and the Christmas Toy Store. Our primary target group is youth who are “at risk” and reside in the poverty stricken areas of our community.
For the past 5 years we have broadened our reach and have been investing in the ministry to the people of Haiti in helping to provide the basic necessities of life.
