At Barco’s Nightingales Foundation we are committed to improving the health and lives of children and families in Haiti. We are delighted to be nearly finished with our sixth solar water well and will share news when it is complete.
One of the most rewarding moments on our last trip to Haiti, came when we visited the school where we serve 540 children a hot lunch every day, or 110,000 hot lunches each year!

It was a thrill joining them for lunch during our recent visit to Haiti. The principal tells me that since the water well has been providing water for the children they have been much healthier and the overall grades of the children has improved greatly. I was also told that the hot lunches have enabled better health and grades.

When we visited the school and joined them for lunch we were reminded of the significant impact that our organization and our Community of Compassion are making in remote Haiti.
